Banana Almond Butter Smoothie

with Greens

One of my favorite smoothies! You can’t go wrong with banana and nut butter!!

I went through a phase recently where I wasn’t really into smoothies at all. I mainly craved eggs and avocado or buttered toast in the morning!!! But now that it’s hotter outside, I’m finally back to making yummy smoothies for breakfast or for an afternoon snack. This recipe is one of my favorrrrites. You cannot beat banana and nut butter!

**Plus, smoothies are a great way to fit in veggies because you usually can’t taste them (at least in this one you can’t ;)).


  • 1 banana (frozen or add a handful of ice)

  • 1 cup frozen or fresh spinach

  • 1 cup almond milk (can replace with any type of milk)

  • 1 tsp seeds (chia, flax, or hemp)

  • 1 Tbsp almond butter (can replace with any type of nut butter)


  • Optional addition:

  • 1/2 medium cucumber


  1. Instructions:

  2. Add all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth

  3. Serve cold and enjoy!!
