Fresh Watermelon Drink

A refreshing sweet summer drink perfect for hot days

There are times in the summer heat when I’m craving something cold to drink besides water (I know this doesn’t sound like me at all but hear me out). I’m not really feelin a smoothie because I don’t feel hungry enough…I’m craving something lighter. Something like a fresh watermelon drink to cool me off and give me something sweet to enjoy!!!

Y’all, watermelon is delicious and naturally so sweet making it perfect to blend up for a cold drink. This recipe is one of the easiest of all time and I love that it’s just fruit plus some fresh flavors. 

You can easily customize this drink however you’d like. Some ideas I thought of:


  • coconut water

  • pinch of salt

  • ginger

  • cucumber!!!

  • alcohol (if 21 or older)

Since we’re in the midst of sizzling hot summer, I thought it would be a perfect time to share this refreshing beverage! 


  • 1 cup watermelon

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp lime juice

  • 1/2 tsp or 2-3 leaves fresh mint

  • Handful of ice


  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth

  2. Serve cold and enjoy!!
