Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette 

yay! A little change from the recipes I've been posting lately. I know a lot of people love salad dressing so this is a great, healthy and budget-friendly option! I created this recipe by just throwing all the ingredients together directly onto my salad and then thought, why not just make a big batch to keep in the fridge and the ratios will be right every time! T'was a good decision. I love having it on hand!

I'm usually not a dressing/vinaigrette kind of gal...I'm the one that orders a plain salad (no dressing) and gets the weird looks...but, when my salad needs a little more flavor, I go for this one! It's quick and easy to make and has simple ingredients that you probably already have in the house. 

It has an initial oil and vinegar taste that's cut by a touch of sweetness from the honey. I especially love using this vinaigrette with kale because kale is such a tough green so the vinaigrette softens it nicely!

Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette 

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

  • 3 Tbsp honey

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  1. Mix ingredients in shaker bottle or in a bowl with a spoon

  2. Store in fridge for 2-3 weeks
