Pumpkin Dog Treats

Puppies like treats too!!!!!!! So why not whip them up something yummy in the kitchen!?

Balanced Bopp’s newest recipe category is “For The Pups” and I think we could have all guessed that this was coming. The amount of times a little doggy has come up to me while baking or cooking and given me those BIG eyes was too much for me…I had to make something special just for them.

I love puppies and I love baking so why not combine the two and make the puppies and me happy!

These dog treats are made with pumpkin, oats, coconut flakes, and an egg. All ingredients are dog-safe (and dog-approved) so no worries.

Because they’re homemade, these dog treats will not last long, especially on the counter!!! I would definitely recommend storing these in the fridge..or even better…keep half in the fridge and store the rest in the freezer.

I hope your doggies enjoy these pumkiny treats (I’m betting they will!).

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  • 1 1/2 cups quick oats

  • 1 egg

  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree

  • 1/4 cup coconut flakes

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Mix all ingredients into a bowl

  3. Form batter into any shape you’d like and bake in the oven for 15 minutes

  4. Let cool, tell your dogs to sit, and have them test em out!!!

  5. Store in refrigerator or freezer
