The Basic Meatball

I. love. meatballs.

Although I eat many plant-rich foods, I'm not vegetarian or vegan. I like to vary my protein between plant-based and animal-based sources. One of my favorite ways to get some hardy protein is meatballlls.

This basic meatball recipe works great with almost any type of meat! I've tried ground chickenturkey, and beef and they've all been delicious. I love how it's only 4 ingredients...quick and easy! Plus, you can make a big batch and freeze some for those days when you just don't feel like cooking a meal.

Pictured above is two batches of large meatballs. One batch is chicken and the other is turkey. This recipe makes anywhere from 10 to 16 meatballs depending on size.

Tiff Tips

  • If you're choosing chicken or turkey, more fat content will provide a moister meatball (ex. 88% lean ground turkey opposed to 99% lean)
